Each of her Embroidered Realms are windows into her mind, capturing the inner thoughts and conflicts of her subconcious. They are places of wonder and mystery created to escape the real world and reconnect with our inner selves. Themes of beauty and fantasy share her embroidered dreams along side darkness and torment. Capturing along the way the dichotomous balance between self preservation and self imprisonment. 

The artist’s process is steeped in self analysis, and a fluctuating search in her sense of spirituality. She uses the imagery and symbolism from Tarot cards as a language through which one can unlock the diary of her inner thoughts and feelings. We are in turn provided with a visual rendering of her own readings, as well as a slate from which we may analyse ourselves.
